Presentation Title: Photo-Initiated Droplet Digital Amplification Enables Ultra-Fast Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Biography: Guohua Zhou, MD/PhD, is Professor of Pharmacology at Nanjing University School of Medicine, Director of the Department of Pharmacology, Jinling Hospital, and a Principal Investigator in the State Key Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry for Life Science. He is a recipient of the State Council Special Allowance, the Jiangsu Provincial Young Scientist Award, and the Jiangsu Distinguished Young Expert Award, and was honored as an Outstanding Leading Talent of the Jiangsu Provincial Medical Science and Health Innovation Program (2016) and with the Jiangsu Innovation Medal (2017). He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Analytical Pharmacology Committee of the Chinese Pharmacological Society and Chair of the Pharmacogenomics Committee of the Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association, and is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Medical Postgraduates and Southeast National Defense Medicine and Editorial Board member of Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis. His research, supported by 12 national grants—including four National Science & Technology Major Projects, 973/863 sub-projects, and five NSFC grants—has yielded one First-Class and five Second-Class Provincial/Ministerial Science & Technology Progress Awards, the Huaxia Medical Science First-Class Award, 17 authorized national invention patents, and four new-drug certificates.
