Presentation Title: AI Frameworks for Phenotypic-Driven Drug Discovery Through Perturbation Modeling

Biography: Dr. Xiang Lin received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow jointly at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and biomedicine, with an emphasis on single-cell, multimodal, and spatial omics modeling, as well as AI-driven drug and target discovery. Dr. Lin has developed widely used deep learning tools for single-cell and spatial data analysis, pioneered computational frameworks for therapeutic target prediction, such as PDGrapher. His work has been published in leading journals including Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, and Genome Research.
